The transition to the digital age and the rise of a powerful search engine like Google has forced almost everyone to explore the role SEO (search engine optimization) plays in their business.

This means you have two different pages with the same content.

SEO and Website Traffic

First page results get around 75% of traffic for a given keyword and that can mean free and valuable traffic for your website. So what do I mean by traffic from a keyword?

Each keyword has a monthly search volume. This monthly search volume varies in different countries.

Generally, the shorter the keyword, the more general the term and the higher the monthly volume. Let’s explain this with an example.

Let’s take the keyword SEO and check the search volume in the UK. As can be seen, the search volume for the keyword “SEO” in the UK is 40.500 per month.

Let’s check out longer terms that contain the word SEO, such as SEO Services. Search volume dropped to 4.400/Month.

Another keyword is “what is SEO”, and the search volume is also 4.400. As you can see, the longer the keyword, the lower the search volume.
