What we collect
- Information you give us. If you use the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, we receive your name and email address. We use them only to reply to you or to send the newsletter, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site receives standard technical data from your browser: IP address, browser type, device, referring page, pages visited and time spent. This is used for security, performance and aggregate statistics.
- Cookies. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics and advertising, as described below. A consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies; you can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer or your browser settings.
Advertising — Google AdSense
The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. The Site uses Google Analytics (via Site Kit) and WordPress.com / Jetpack statistics to understand how the Site is used. These tools collect anonymised or pseudonymised usage data. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Third-party services
The Site is hosted on WordPress.com (Automattic Inc.). Newsletter subscriptions are handled by Kit (formerly ConvertKit). Embedded content from other websites (for example YouTube or Medium) behaves as if you had visited that website directly and is governed by that provider’s privacy policy.
How we use information

- to send the newsletter you subscribed to;
- to measure audience and content performance in aggregate;

Legal basis and your rights (GDPR / KVKK)
Where the GDPR or Türkiye’s KVKK applies, we process personal data on the basis of your consent (cookies, newsletter), our legitimate interest in running and securing the Site, or the performance of a request you make. You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Data retention and security
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to the provider’s default settings. The Site is served over HTTPS and hosted on infrastructure with industry-standard security controls; no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
